Relevant Standard Testing Requirements
1.1 The test object is a battery pack or system.
1.2 During the test, the size of the flat pan containing gasoline shall exceed the horizontal dimension of the test object by 20 cm, and the height of the flat pan shall not be higher than 8 cm above the surface of the gasoline. The distance between the gasoline liquid level and the test object is set to 50 cm, or the ground clearance of the test object when the vehicle is unloaded, or it can be agreed upon by both parties. Water shall be injected into the bottom layer of the flat pan.
1.3 Ignite the gasoline at a place at least 3 meters away from the device under test. After a 60-second preheating, place the oil pan under the device under test. If the oil pan is too large to move, the test sample box and its support can be moved instead.
1.4 The test object shall be directly exposed to the flame for 70 seconds.
1.5 Cover the oil pan with a cover. The test object shall be tested in this state for 60 seconds, or with the mutual agreement of both parties, it can continue to be directly exposed to the flame for another 60 seconds.
1.6 Move the oil pan away and observe for 2 hours.
1.7 Requirements: There should be no explosion in the battery pack or system. If there is a flame, it should go out within 2 minutes after the heat source is removed.
